Job summary

Rosehill Secondary College in Victoria is seeking a classroom teacher to deliver engaging programs for diverse learners and to support literacy, numeracy and overall student achievement.

You will plan, teach, assess and reflect on practice, contribute to school priorities, mentor student teachers and collaborate with parents and colleagues to promote wellbeing and success for all students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and ability to integrate literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning/high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative relationships with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake other classroom duties as determined by the principal.
• Attend parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
• Support non-teaching supervisory duties.
