Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy into teaching.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies aligned to how students learn.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Behaviour and attitude aligned with departmental values and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve specific outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom duties and organizational tasks as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
