Job summary

yourtown is seeking a Job Development Coach to support young people living with disability as they gain confidence and prepare for meaningful employment. You’ll coach, motivate and empower clients to reach their employment goals and work with local employers to create opportunities.

Your day may include running a Job Club, mock interviews, tailoring action plans, and helping participants overcome barriers. This role is permanent full time with a focus on outcomes.

Qualifications

• No Employment Services experience required; suitable from customer-focused roles.
• Ability to coach and build confidence in young people with disability.
• Strong communication with young people, employers and stakeholders.
• Organised, outcome-focused and able to work toward KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Coach young people to build confidence, independence and work readiness.
• Develop personalised employment goals and action plans.
• Identify barriers and find practical solutions.
• Connect participants with employers and opportunities.
• Support applications, interviews and transitions into employment.
• Provide ongoing support to achieve sustainable outcomes and KPIs.
