Job summary

University of Western Australia’s McCusker Centre for Citizenship invites applications for a casual internship coordinator. You will support the delivery of the internship program, coordinate activities and engage with students and partners to foster active citizenship.

Working with a small team, you will act as a main contact for students and partners, resolve issues, and help ensure successful outcomes across local, national and global communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent competency.
• Experience working with students, student systems and industry partners to deliver a quality program.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver outcomes.
• Ability to analyse and problem-solve to identify service improvements.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, project plans, databases, email and website development.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and efficient operation of the internship program through high-level coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as one of the main contacts for students and partners, providing quality advice and resolving issues to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with other internship advisers and become part of a Team during busy periods.
