Uniting Vic.Tas in Sale, VIC is seeking a Placement Support Worker to collaborate with children, young people, families and caregivers to meet case-plan outcomes within a caring home environment.

The role includes ongoing caregiver training and supervision, with emphasis on safe, supportive environments and positive relationships across caregiving households. This is a permanent part-time position with a fortnightly schedule and salary packaging benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor qualifications in Social Work / Welfare or related field.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system and available resources in Gippsland.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives.

Responsabilidades

• As a Placement Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with children, young people, their families, carers and other stakeholders to ensure outcomes per the case plan.
• The role will provide ongoing training and supervision to caregivers.
• You will actively support development of positive relationships and environments within caregiving households.
