Job summary

APM is seeking an Employment Consultant at our Preston, VIC site to help people with disability secure meaningful employment. You will combine people support with sales and relationship building, creating sustainable employment opportunities for participants and employers.

You will market candidates to local businesses, coach job-readiness, assist with resumes and interview prep, and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities while meeting program KPIs.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
• Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants to understand their employment goals and position them for success.
• Coach participants to be job-ready and interview confident.
• Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation and job search strategies.
• Market candidates to employers and generate job opportunities.
• Drive employment outcomes by advocating on behalf of participants to employers and securing job placements.
• Maintain and grow employer relationships to drive repeat business and ongoing vacancies.
• Track participant progress toward employment outcomes and ensure program compliance.
