Job summary

APM in Melbourne is seeking an Employment Consultant to support participants with disability to secure meaningful employment and to actively engage local employers.

You will combine people support with sales and relationship building, coaching participants, preparing resumes, and securing job placements. Join our Inclusive Employment Australia Program at the Epping site to help change lives through sustainable employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to build relationships with employers.
• Passionate about helping people overcome barriers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with participants to understand employment goals.
• Coach participants to be job-ready, interview confident.
• Assist with resumes, interview prep, and job search strategies.
• Drive employment outcomes by advocating to employers.
• Generate job opportunities through employer outreach.
• Manage employer relationships to sustain placements.
• Track progress and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Ensure compliance and data entry per program requirements.
