MTC FutureReady is seeking an Employment Consultant – Workforce Australia (WFA) in Toowong, Brisbane, on a full-time contract. You will manage a caseload, coach participants, and build tailored plans to help job seekers secure sustainable employment.

The role involves partnering with government and community organisations to deliver holistic, person-centred support. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will develop co-case management strategies, source vacancies, and broker employer introductions

• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong listening skills and ability to handle challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of jobseekers to secure sustainable employment.
• Coach and mentor participants to address barriers.
• Develop tailored plans with participants to meet goals.
• Leverage external partnerships to support co-case management strategies.
• Support participants in finding work by sourcing vacancies and brokering introductions to employers.
• Build rapport with participants and manage expectations throughout their journey.
