Job summary

MTC FutureReady, a social enterprise, seeks an Employment Consultant / Practitioner for its Caringbah site to support people with disability or health conditions toward meaningful employment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will conduct in‑depth appointments, tailor job plans, build employer relationships, and collaborate with allied health, training providers and community groups to remove barriers to work.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disability or lived experience.
• Familiar with IEA guidelines, compliance, and performance standards.
• Proven leadership in employment services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Culturally aware and experienced with diverse communities.
• Committed to inclusive employment and supporting people with disability.
• Holder of a valid driver’s licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth participant appointments to assess barriers and create tailored job plans.
• Build rapport to evaluate capabilities and deliver personalised employment readiness support.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and benchmarks.
• Foster employer relationships to source job opportunities and advocate inclusive hiring.
• Collaborate with allied health, training providers, and community groups.
• Perform risk assessments and implement timely mitigation strategies.
