Job summary

The Y Canberra Region is seeking a dedicated educator to join Strathnairn ELC. You will work full-time, 76 hours per fortnight, 7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent) is mandatory, with WWVP registration required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) is mandatory.
• Availability 7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, full-time (76 hours per fortnight).
• Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration is mandatory.
• Do Food Safely certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of all required Y Mandatory Internal Training and organisational online learning modules prior to commencement.
• Geccko Foundations 1 & 2, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Geccko Advanced 3 & 4, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• ACT Government Keeping Children and Young People Safe training, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

• Join Strathnairn Early Learning Centre as passionate educator.
• Support a safe, inclusive learning environment for children.
• Collaborate with team to deliver quality early childhood education.
