Job summary

Strathalbyn Early Learning Centre, part of YMCA South Australia, is seeking dedicated Certificate III and Diploma Qualified Educators. You will support families with sensitivity, assist with positive behaviour management and promote inclusion of children with additional needs.

We offer permanent full-time and part-time roles, with a supportive environment focused on learning and career growth under the ELC Director, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• National Police Check issued within the last 6 months.
• DHS Working With Children Check required.
• RRHAN training completed.
• HLTAID012 Provide Emergency First Aid in Education and Care setting.
• Experience with groups of children aged 0–6 years.

THE ROLE

Strathalbyn Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certificate III and Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team. As a renowned provider of exceptional care and education to children, we are committed to delivering the highest standards of service to families in our care.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)


• DHS Working With Children Check


• International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)


• A Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education (or other equivalent field)


• (HLTAID012) Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Setting


• Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN) training


• Experience interacting with groups of children from 0-6 years


• Awareness of accountability, legal liability, and duty of care to children
