Job summary

The Y Canberra Region’s Holder Early Learning Centre (ELC) is seeking passionate educators to join a warm, values-driven team. If you hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, you will contribute to a safe and inspiring environment for children, families, and colleagues.

We offer a supportive workplace, with 7:00am–6:00pm shifts (76 hours per fortnight), and a commitment to ongoing training, wellbeing programs, and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Availability 7:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday on a full-time basis (76 hours per fortnight) is mandatory.
• Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration is mandatory.
• Food Safe certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of all required Y Mandatory Internal Training and organisational online learning modules prior to commencement.
• Geccko Foundations of Child Safety Training Courses 1 & 2, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Geccko Advanced Child Safety Training Courses 3 & 4, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• ACT Government Keeping Children and Young People Safe training, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
