Job summary

Department of Justice in Perth is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to deliver expert analysis, reporting and data extraction to support Court and Tribunal Services outcomes. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy with opportunities to influence performance measures and governance.

The role covers data integrity checks, development of performance frameworks, and collaboration across divisions to ensure timely, accurate reporting including government services outputs.

Qualifications

• Well-developed computing skills including statistical analysis and experience with database management, reporting and BI tools.
• High level research and analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
• Ability to draw on information from multiple sources, identify trends and risks, and support decision making.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and teams to achieve outcomes.
• Commitment to integrity, accountability and sound judgment in work.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from source systems using standard tools and build queries and reports to meet reporting requirements.
• Provide analysis and interpretation of data related to performance indicators.
• Prepare and coordinate data and reporting outputs, including standard reporting suites.
• Advise and consult with business areas to establish working relationships for delivering outcomes.
