The role focuses on developing evidence-based policy advice for government and executives, analysing financial and performance data to inform decision-making and supporting budget bids.

You will prepare reports for senior executives and Ministers, develop costings for reforms, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current Youth Justice policy directions and issues.
• Experience with budget processes and financial planning.
• Ability to communicate findings from financial and performance data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and data information to support Youth Justice executives and Ministers in decision making.
• Analyse and communicate performance data, system projections and financial information for policy and budget processes.
• Prepare documentation and reports for key decision-making bodies and senior management.
• Develop costings for priority youth justice reforms and support evidence-based policy advice.
• Communicate analytical outcomes to support policy advice on risks, trends and opportunities.
• Maintain positive stakeholder relationships and use formal and informal channels to present complex reports.
