Job summary

Victoria University Secondary College, a Department of Education Victoria multi-campus college, seeks experienced classroom teachers to deliver programs for years 7–12 across its campuses. You will contribute to a PLC-driven learning culture, collaborate with staff, and support diverse learner needs.

The role involves high-quality teaching, planning, and professional learning within a supportive, community-focused school environment. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the curriculum with ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies aligned to how students learn.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning with data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by school priorities.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
