Job summary

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) seeks an NCIRS Program Manager, Program Management to lead the operational and leadership responsibilities for the NCIRS contract. You will oversee performance against obligations, coordinate with stream leads and researchers, and ensure compliance with funding agreements, while delivering high-quality outputs across health research and public health programs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline with postgraduate qualifications and substantial management experience within health/public sector.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex programmes of work and multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills for evidence-based decision making.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with senior health professionals and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports, briefings and presentations.
• Knowledge of research policy environments, knowledge translation and monitoring frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/information management tools to support delivery.
• Commitment to quality and patient safety in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of the NCIRS funded contract and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Monitor performance against contractual obligations and ensure compliance with funding agreements.
• Collaborate with stream leads, researchers and stakeholders to optimise operational effectiveness and governance.
• Support organisational planning and continuous improvement across assigned streams.
