Job summary

Water Brothers Group in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to join our growing team and support the CFO in day-to-day finance activities. You will lead AP/AR/payroll, assist month-end close and work with operations to improve reporting, cost control and project profitability.

You will also help refine systems and forecasting, manage loan and vehicle finance schedules, and drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance professional with end-to-end accounting experience.
• Experience leading AP/AR and payroll teams.
• Strong month-end close, journals and accruals experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting our AP, AR and payroll team
• Supporting month-end close, journals and accruals
• Overseeing customer setups, invoicing, collections and supplier payments
• Keeping payroll processes and controls up to date
• Preparing monthly reports, budgets, projections and cash-flow forecasts
• Managing loan and vehicle finance schedules
• Working with operations to understand job profitability and identify cost savings
• Improving our systems and reporting, including project costing, budgets and forecasting
