Job summary

Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Refrigeration Apprentice to join their Gladstone team. In partnership with Apprentices and Trainees Queensland, you will assist with installation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, while developing fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Key duties include reading plans, using hand and power tools safely, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration as a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice (essential)
• Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical (essential)
• Construction Induction White Card (desirable)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Good understanding of basic Refrigeration principles and practices

In partnership with Apprentices and Trainees Queensland, Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Refrigeration Apprentice to join their team in Gladstone.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of Refrigeration duties, such as:
