Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven success driving growth in sales, customer experience, or partnerships in retail, financial services or B2B.
  • Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, credit risk, compliance and revenue models.
  • Knowledge of local and global B2B markets, regulatory requirements for financial services and B2B ops.
  • Strong ability to build strategic partnerships and influence senior leadership.

As the IKEA Business & Financial Services Leader, you'll be at the forefront of our profitable growth agenda, maximising opportunities by leading the development and implementation of financial services and IKEA Business offers. You'll democratise financial services and provide holistic solutions for both individual and business customers, someone who:



  • Takes full responsibility for developing the total IKEA Business and Financial Services business in the Australia and New Zealand, delivering agreed results supported by analytics and insights.

  • Leads and motivates the cross-functional teams to support IKEA Business and Finance Services development and execution, fostering strong collaboration across all functions and units to maximise impact

  • Proactively contributes to the Selling agenda in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals

  • Drives tactical and operational planning, ensuring alignment with Business Plans, roadmaps, and banking relationships to reach defined targets

  • Develops and optimises relationships with external partners in alignment with governance frameworks to enhance customer experiences

  • Supports new initiatives with subject matter expertise, leading deployment and acceleration of innovative solutions

  • Drives an open and sharing climate, acts as a role model of the IKEA values and contributes to the transformation of IKEA


You are a passionate, highly motivated leader with a deep understanding of both financial services and B2B markets, thriving in environments that blend strategic thinking with practical execution. You bring comprehensive knowledge of payment infrastructure, credit risk, compliance, revenue models, and customer experience optimisation across physical and digital channels. With strong leadership capabilities, you excel at inspiring teams, influencing senior stakeholders, building trust with partners, and integrating sustainability into business strategies.


To be considered for this role, you will need to have:



  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in complex, fast-paced environments, with proven ability to drive change and foster collaboration

  • Extensive experience of proven success driving growth in sales, customer experience, and partnerships within retail, financial services, or B2B industries

  • Comprehensive understanding of financial services including payment infrastructure, credit risk management, compliance requirements, and revenue models across partnerships and ecosystems

  • Extensive knowledge of local and global B2B markets with deep insights into customer needs, sales mechanisms, key account management, and regulatory requirements impacting financial services and B2B operations

  • Deep expertise in optimizing customer experiences across multichannel touchpoints to maximize conversion, sales, and engagement in both physical and digital environments

  • Exceptional ability to build strategic partnerships and long‑term relationships with external partners and stakeholders, with strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills to inspire and influence diverse audiences including senior leadership

  • Results-driven approach with strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes through KPI management, continuous improvement


Additional information:



  • Permanent, full time, 76hrs/fortnight.
