Rous County Council is seeking a dynamic ICT professional to deliver first-level support across staff at our Ballina site. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, systems and network issues, while providing exemplary customer service and rapid issue resolution.

You will manage helpdesk tickets, configure user accounts and ICT devices, and assist with system maintenance and projects, working with internal teams and external providers to ensure reliable operations.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual with strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. A focus for this role is providing responsive ICT support, resolving technical issues and maintaining reliable systems to support Council's day-to-day operations.

About Rous

Our new site will bring together all Council operations under one roof, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused workplace. Located on a spacious 71-hectare site, the facility has been designed with staff wellbeing, sustainability, and operational excellence in mind. Rous hasan operational footprint covering 3,000km2. As a county council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.
