Job summary

genU is seeking an experienced ICT Software Engineer to design and develop enterprise software that supports service delivery. You will translate business needs into scalable digital solutions with a strong emphasis on security and performance.

genU is seeking an experienced and passionate ICT Software Engineer to design, develop and enhance business-critical applications that support service delivery across the organisation. What you’ll do

• Design, develop and enhance secure, business-critical applications that support service delivery and operational excellence across genU.
• Lead innovative software solutions from concept through to implementation, translating business needs into scalable, user-friendly outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality systems, integrations and digital improvements that create organisational value.
• Drive best practice development through technical leadership, architecture guidance, security compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring

• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, coupled with 5+ years' experience developing enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Advanced skills across C#, .NET, SQL and modern web development frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead development initiatives and translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
• (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
• Experience developing modern web applications using ASP.NET, Angular and related technologies, with strong knowledge of web development best practices.
• Proven experience delivering complex software projects in agile environments, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), RESTful APIs and enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong understanding of contemporary development tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems and database technologies.
