Technosoft Australia is seeking an ICT Help Desk Officer to join our growing technical support team in Melbourne. This full-time role offers 38 hours per week, a salary of AUD 75,000–76,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation, and a chance to support clients and internal users with hardware, software and network issues.

Ideal candidates have at least one year ICT support or help desk experience and a IT-related qualification.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of ICT support or help desk experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-level technical support to clients and internal staff via phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, system, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting activities, and system updates.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Support website, application, and system maintenance activities where required.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues proactively.
• Assist in maintaining IT security standards, backups, and software updates.
• Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT systems and applications.
• Ensure all support tasks are completed within agreed service timeframes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing technology projects and improvements.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when handling support requests.
