Job summary

Infinity Commercial Furniture in Zetland NSW seeks an ICT Business Analyst to join our technology team. You’ll bridge Finance, Operations and Sales, translating business needs into practical, well‑implemented ERP solutions as we move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You’ll gather requirements, configure and test functionality, support data migration, and provide reporting insights, working with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Service to

• 2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
• Finance or operations context experience
• Experience with ERP implementations

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales and Customer Service to understand requirements and prioritise improvements.
• End-to-end ERP implementation support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, from requirements through go-live.
• Align finance processes to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation and controls.
• Analyse existing processes and design improved workflows within the ERP environment.
• Provide day-to-day system support and coordinate resolutions with IT and vendors.
• Analyse data and support reporting using Excel, SQL or Power BI.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, documentation and training for new solutions.
• Liaise with implementation partners and internal teams to keep the project on track.

We’re looking for an ICT Business Analyst to join our growing technology team and help shape how our business runs day to day. This is a hands‑on, business‑facing role where you’ll bridge the gap between our finance, operations and Sales teams — translating business needs into practical, well‑implemented system solutions.

You’ll play a key role in our upcoming ERP transformation, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Service to gather requirements, configure and test new functionality, and ensure a smooth transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Business partnering: Working with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales and Customer Service to understand requirements, identify issues and prioritise improvements.
• ERP implementation: Supporting the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Business Central — from requirements gathering and process mapping through to configuration, data migration, testing and go‑live.
• Finance process alignment: Applying your finance background to ensure new systems and workflows support accurate reporting, reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Process & workflow improvement: Analysing existing business processes and designing improved, standardised workflows and approvals within the new ERP environment.
• Systems support: Providing day‑to‑day support for Business Central and related business applications, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with IT and vendors.
• Data & reporting: Analysing business data, investigating discrepancies, and supporting reporting and decision‑making using tools such as Excel, SQL or Power BI.
• Testing & change management: Coordinating user acceptance testing, documentation, training and communication to ensure the business successfully adopts new solutions.
• Stakeholder & vendor management: Liaising with implementation partners, vendors and internal teams to keep the project on track and issues resolved quickly.

Skill & Experience

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• 2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field (or equivalent experience); Post-Graduate degree are highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications or BA/Agile certifications (IIBA, CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, PSM) are a bonus.
• A finance background — this could be a degree, prior role, or hands‑on experience with financial processes such as AP/AR, reconciliation, budgeting or reporting.
• Hands‑on experience implementing or configuring a new ERP system (full lifecycle: requirements, configuration, testing, go‑live and post‑launch support).
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong business process analysis, problem‑solving and requirements‑gathering skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, practical technology solutions.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) is highly regarded.
• A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and genuine interest in improving how a business operates.
