Job summary

Mount Scopus Memorial College in Melbourne is seeking a Jewish Studies/Hebrew teacher for a part-time 0.60 FTE role at our Caulfield South Primary School. The successful candidate will bring Hebrew language skills, knowledge of Jewish culture and a collaborative, growth-minded approach to learning in an IB context.

Applicants must hold current VIT registration, understand Child Safe Standards, and be willing to contribute to the school's inquiry-based, transdisciplinary IB PYP program.

Qualifications

• Current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
• Ability to speak Hebrew and knowledge of Jewish culture and festivities.
• Experience with IB PYP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach Jewish Studies and Hebrew to primary students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver IB PYP learning in a transdisciplinary context.
