Job summary

CBRE Data Center Solutions is seeking a CBRE Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data center environment. The role sits in a critical technical services function, focusing on safe, compliant operation.

You will inspect mechanical and engineering systems, respond to BMS alarms, and work with third-party vendors. The position requires licensed electrical/ARC credentials and knowledge of data center assets.

Qualifications

• Electrical safety and risk assessments experience.
• Experience maintaining critical & temperature-controlled environments.
• Understanding of electrical & mechanical systems in data centers.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling and subcontractor supervision.
• Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center equipment.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in the facility.
• Work with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Complete planned maintenance and reactive work on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Record maintenance activities and ensure quality standards.
