Job summary

CBRE Data Center Solutions is hiring Data Center Technicians to maintain critical infrastructure at our Lane Cove, Sydney site. You will handle preventative and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, chillers, BMS and CMMS-driven workflows, ensuring uninterrupted service for hyperscale environments.

Ideal candidates have NSW electrical qualifications, 1–2 years in temperature-controlled environments, and strong safety and vendor coordination skills.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
Understanding of safety codes and risk assessments relevant to maintenance.
Exposure to critical/high-temperature environments and safety protocols.
Experience with scheduling maintenance and supervising subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on data center equipment.
Monitor and respond to Building Management System alarms and issues.
Coordinate with vendors and manage subcontractor performance under MASA terms.
Perform routine site inspections of mechanical and electrical systems.
