Job summary

WesTrac Tomago Hydraulics Branch is seeking a highly organized Planner for a full-time, 18-month fixed-term role. You will proactively manage work schedules, resources, and priorities to ensure timely completion of hydraulic components while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Working with the Branch Manager and Workshop Supervisors, you will analyze workload, plan labour and parts, track progress, and drive improvements to efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous planning experience or hydraulics background desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term schedules and slot plans.
• Balance labour capacity with Supervisors and forecast resources.
• Monitor progress and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Generate planning reports and analyse workload and performance data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are available and backorders are minimized.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning and scheduling processes.
