Job summary

Pirtek Port Macquarie is seeking a Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisor with a trade qualification (Fitter Machinist or Mechanic) and real hydraulic experience to lead a small team at our service centre. You will oversee daily operations, ensure accurate service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of WHS practices.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essential.
• Strong hydraulic knowledge including cylinder rebuilds, pumps, motors, hoses and fittings.
• Experience leading a small team in a demanding environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the Hose Service Centre.
• Perform hose assemblies, cylinder rebuilds, pump/motor work and general hydraulic/fitting tasks.
• Assist customers at the counter and on the phone.
