Pirtek Port Macquarie is seeking a Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisor with a trade qualification (Fitter Machinist or Mechanic) and real hydraulic experience to lead a small team at our service centre. You will oversee daily operations, ensure accurate service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of WHS practices.

Competenze

• Trade certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essential.
• Strong hydraulic knowledge including cylinder rebuilds, pumps, motors, hoses and fittings.
• Experience leading a small team in a demanding environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.

Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisor - Port Macquarie

Essential

• Must be a trade qualified Fitter Machinist or Mechanic
• Real Hydraulic Experience - Cylinder Rebuilds, Pumps, Motors and Hose & Fittings

The Role

As a Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisoryou will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

General Tasks

• Support in daily operation of the Hose Service Centre
• Conduct hose assembly, cylinder rebuilds, pump/motor procedures, and general hydraulic/fitting works
• Assist to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone

You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• Possession of a Trade Certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essential
• A strong understanding of customer service
• Good telephone manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to carry out instructions
• A knowledge of the hydraulic/industrial industry
• Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
• Be computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Well presented and groomed
• Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
• Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
• Desire to be a team player
• Live within a reasonable distance to the business
• An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
