Job summary

V/Line’s Transport & Logistics Coordinator role is based in Lara, supporting transport movements and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient operations. The role includes procurement coordination and maintaining records, with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will work in a hybrid setup after onboarding, collaborating across teams to optimise schedules and processes while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport coordination, purchasing or maintenance operations.
• Experience planning, coordinating or purchasing goods and services to support operations.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyse and manage operational data.
• Experience using JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport and logistics activities to support operational requirements and changing business priorities.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, transport providers and contractors.
• Support transport operations through planning, cost management and procurement coordination.
• Review, process and maintain transport-related records, data, invoices and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Ensure activities comply with safety, legislative, governance and organisational requirements.
