Job summary

Micromine, a Weir Software Solutions business, is seeking a Technical Writer to translate complex software concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation. You'll work with product and development teams to support the software journey and ensure a consistent documentation experience across Micromine products.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Writer in software, technology or mining tech.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to simplify complex technical concepts for end users.
Experience with technical authoring and content management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain release notes, installation guides, configuration manuals, online help systems and user documentation.
Ensure a consistent documentation experience across Micromine software products.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, testers and support to understand product changes and documentation requirements.
Translate technical information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
Support documentation processes, standards and localization tools.
Review content to identify gaps, inaccuracies and opportunities for improvement.
