Sirva Melbourne is seeking a System Administrator to maintain Windows Server environments, AD, and Microsoft 365. This hybrid IT role supports on-prem and cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance across services.

You will manage Hyper-V, backups, patching, and incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure improvements. Apply strong documentation and problem-solving skills daily.

Formación

• Experience administering Windows Server environments in a corporate setting.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
• Familiarity with server patching, monitoring tools, and backup solutions.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and common services such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and SMTP.
• Experience troubleshooting server, application, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.
• Manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V.
• Perform server provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Apply operating system and application patches in line with security policies.
• Maintain hardware, storage, and backup systems.
• Active Directory & Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Manage AD users, groups, OUs, and GPOs.
• Administer Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Implement and maintain RBAC and security permissions.
• Support vulnerability remediation and security patch management.
• Monitor and maintain endpoint protection and MFA solutions.
• Assist in security audits and system reviews.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and preventive actions in ITSM tools.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as required.
