Job summary

Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) seeks a Senior Workforce Planner on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2027 to lead strategic and operational workforce planning for the BPC. The role focuses on forecasting resource needs, rostering, scheduling, reporting, and data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid Melbourne setting, driving efficiency and service delivery across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational reporting and analysing workforce performance data.
• Ability to develop and present insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Minimum three years' workforce management experience in a call centre or similar environment.
• Experience forecasting, scheduling, rostering and workforce planning processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational workforce planning for the BPC.
• Forecast resource needs, develop and manage staff rosters, allocate work.
• Generate performance and capacity reports using data-driven insights.
• Standardise reporting and adapt workforce strategies to evolving needs.
