Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Data Scientist in the Office of the Founder to be the analytical partner to our strategic decisions. You’ll forecast growth, pressure-test bets, and create accountability against our plans, helping us empower creators and scale our digital universe.

You’ll stay hands-on with the data stack, build datasets and models, and deliver defensible answers to tough questions within tight timelines. Expect to work 3 days per week in Melbourne or Sydney and 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience turning data into strategic insights for leadership.
• Proven ability to build driver-based forecasts or operating models.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy by identifying opportunities, framing key questions and recommending where to focus.
• Assess investments and partnerships, quantify trade-offs, and recommend actions.
• Define success metrics with Finance and leaders, hold teams accountable to outcomes.
• Build and own datasets and models that quantify company performance.
• Influence exec and board decisions with clear recommendations and explain assumptions.
