Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Staff Data Scientist in the Office of the Founders to be the analytical partner for strategic decisions. You’ll forecast revenue, test bets, and set clear accountability for plans, turning billions of visitors into numbers leadership can plan against.

You’ll sit close to the executive team, building datasets, models and forecasts, while remaining hands-on across the data stack. You’ll work 3 days per week from Melbourne or Sydney and 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role in high-growth tech.
• Track record shaping strategy with founders and executives, with measurable impact.
• Built driver-based forecasts or operating models with accountability for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own datasets, models and forecasts that quantify company performance.
• Assess investments, partnerships and trade-offs; guide decisions to scale or stop.
• Define success metrics with Finance and leaders; hold teams to outcomes.
