Job summary

Woolworths Group in Sydney is seeking a Store Space Deployment Floor Planner to deliver optimized floor plans in partnership with stores, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. This hybrid role focuses on data-driven floor plan development, adherence to space standards, and enhancing the customer experience.

Reporting to the Store Space Deployment team, you will create floor plans with Blue Yonder, manage deadlines in Agile style, and collaborate with Renewal/Refit Coordinators to resolve space

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years experience in relevant roles (e.g. Merchandising, Category analyst, Replenishment)
• Understands FMCG/retail industry and commercial processes – beneficial
• Proficient understanding of Google & Microsoft systems, with intermediate Excel functions such as pivot tables and conditional formatting
• Experience in SAP and Blue Yonder (JDA) Space Planning

Responsibilities

• Develops data-driven floor plans using the Blue Yonder Floor Planning application to maximise commercial space returns while maintaining blueprint standards and data integrity
• Manages project deadlines with Agile practices and ceremonies
• Collaborates with commercial partners and internal teams using data-led recommendations to influence decisions
• Solves store space queries within SLAs and coordinates with Renewal/Refit Coordinators during refits
• Contributes to the space planning function’s strategic goals

Education

Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related subject
