Job summary

This Australian enterprise is building AI foundations and needs a hands-on Snowflake engineer to design and run the platforms that GenAI solutions rely on. You will ingest and model enterprise data, build reliable pipelines, tune performance and establish governance so agents access trusted, secure data at scale.

You will work with AI engineers and architects from design to production, partnering with business stakeholders to shape requirements, and you will bring strong Snowflake delivery

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on Snowflake delivery: virtual warehouses, clustering, query optimisation, streams and tasks.
• Strong SQL and Python.
• Production ELT pipeline experience with tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran or Matillion.
• Cloud experience in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Data modelling (star/snowflake schema) and data quality fundamentals.
• Snowflake security and governance: RBAC, masking policies, resource monitoring.
• Git and CI/CD as standard practice.
• Comfortable working with business stakeholders to shape requirements.
• Australian citizenship or PR.
