Job summary

Epiroc Group is seeking a Service Manager in Perth to lead the service delivery and technical support across the Perth Branch. The role oversees a team of Field Service Technicians, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring installations, maintenance and support are delivered safely and efficiently.

This hands-on leadership position works with customers, technicians, sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering background.
• Significant experience within field service, maintenance or technical support environments.
• Strong understanding of mining technology, automation or mobile equipment systems.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate technical teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling and resource coordination capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing service delivery performance.
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Perth Service team to deliver outstanding customer service outcomes.
• Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and engagement.
• Manage department budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Drive a positive customer-focused culture across the service team.
• Plan and schedule field service resources to support current and future workloads.
• Support technicians with technical guidance, problem solving and escalation management.
• Ensure jobs are appropriately resourced with parts, equipment and personnel.
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling and job planning activities to maximise efficiency.
• Assist with the preparation of service quotations and cost estimates.
• Maintain service quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the development, mentoring and performance management of Field Service Technicians.
• Work closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities for additional customer support and business growth.
