Macias Consulting, a well established mining operator, is expanding its finance function in Perth. This senior tax accountant role focuses on IAS, BAS, GST, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax, to reduce external reliance and support the tax manager.

You will also work on transfer pricing, fixed assets/depreciation, tax effect accounting and provide advice on commercial matters, capital projects, and strategic investments. Flexibility includes 1-2 days WFH.

Qualifications

• Senior tax accountant with 7-10 years in corporate tax experience, ideally from mining or large practice in Australia.
• Experience dealing with ATO compliance and regulatory frameworks is essential.
• Ability to simplify complex tax concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Handle IAS, BAS, GST, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax to support the tax manager.
• Contribute to transfer pricing, fixed assets/depreciation, and tax effect accounting.
• Provide advice on commercial matters, capital projects, strategic investments, and initiatives.
