Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage taxation compliance, reporting and governance for an Australian operation. The role offers flexibility as either part-time or full-time within a growing finance team.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external advisors and regulators to deliver robust tax practices and strategic insights, while strengthening tax governance and reducing key-person risk.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA with 4+ years taxation experience in mining, resources, energy or large corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation across all disciplines.
• Experience with tax effect accounting and IFRS reporting (IAS 12/AASB 112).
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP or ERP experience highly regarded.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support tax governance framework and policy maintenance.
• Prepare income tax, GST, PAYG, FBT returns and lodgements with external advisors.
• Assist with Transfer Pricing documentation and country-by-country reporting.
• Quarterly tax balance sheet reconciliations and IFRS tax effect workbooks.
