Clarity Partners is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the mining services business across Australia, with flexibility in how the role is structured. Open to a full-time junior candidate or part-time experienced accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager and collaborating with the regional team.

You will engage in month-end reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, GST/BAS, and IFRS 16 lease accounting while developing exposure to broader financial processes and controls within a

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Approximately 2–4 years of accounting or assistant accountant experience.
• Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Month-End Reporting: assist with monthly accounts, journals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Financial Analysis: support cash flow tracking, variance analysis and revenue reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: assist with budgets and forecasts.
• Tax and Compliance: support GST, BAS, FBT and statutory reporting.
• Treasury and Transactions: assist with foreign currency transactions, intercompany payments and cash management.
• Financial Controls: maintain accurate financial records, support process improvements.
• Audit and Lease Accounting: assist with year-end processes, lease accounting and reporting (IFRS 16).
• General Support: provide accounting and commercial support to the finance team and stakeholders.
