Job summary

Bayside City Council in Sandringham is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver end-to-end building projects from inception to handover. You will manage stakeholders, budgets and quality in line with the Council's Framework.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or relevant qualification or extensive industry experience.
• Extensive experience in delivering complex building projects and capital work programs.
• Experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement, preferably in local government.
• Excellent stakeholder management with project teams, sponsors, community groups and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously to deliver projects within the capital buildings team.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery - ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality outcomes per the Project Management Framework.
• Engage successfully with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver projects in accordance with contract conditions including all legislative requirements.
• OH&S - ensure council buildings and infrastructure provide safe environments for users and the public.
