Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a maximum 12-month term in Strathpine, with hybrid working and a 72.5-hour fortnight. The role focuses on managing community buildings, green spaces, parks and recreation projects from procurement through construction and maintenance.

The team values leadership in complex delivery, with a 9-day fortnight and a competitive salary of $103,597–$123,300 plus 12% super. Award-winning employer with strong career development support.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering buildings, parks and recreation projects
• Knowledge of construction legislation and Australian standards
• Ability to communicate complex planning and construction matters clearly
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the approvals process with minimal guidance
• Provide specialist advice in accordance with current legislation and WHS requirements
• Coordinate and manage consultants during detailed design
• Resolve complex construction issues
• Manage progressive payment claims from contractors
