Richard Lloyd Recruitment – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer for a temporary 4–6 month assignment. The role covers high-volume BAU payroll across daily, weekly and monthly cycles, with involvement in system remediation and collaboration with onshore/offshore teams.

You will work in a hybrid model, applying complex award rules and coordinating with payroll stakeholders, while supporting Salesforce and evolving timesheet processes. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience managing complex, high-volume payroll.
Strong interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.
Willingness to switch between BAU processing and project work.
Experience with payroll systems and reporting.

Responsabilités

Manage accurate, high-volume BAU payroll across daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
Interpret and apply complex awards and enterprise arrangements.
Coordinate with onshore payroll officers and offshore team.
Resolve payroll and timesheet queries promptly with employees and stakeholders.
Complete payroll tax and workers’ compensation reporting.
Investigate and remediate issues arising from the system change.
Maintain rate cards across states and client sites.
Work with Salesforce and upcoming digital timesheet improvements.
