Job summary

Greater Western Water is seeking an experienced Release Analyst to lead and coordinate technology releases across customer platforms and supporting systems. The role is a full-time fixed-term contract with hybrid work options, including WFH and the Footscray office, ending 30 June 2027.

You will own release planning, governance, and deployment activities across complex environments, ensuring controlled, traceable, high-quality outcomes while supporting operational stability.

Qualifications

  • Essential experience in Release Management or a similar delivery role.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes across change, incident, problem, and release management.
  • Experience coordinating complex releases across multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Proven planning, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own release plans, calendars and deployment schedules.
  • Coordinate release activities across development, testing, architecture, business and vendors.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews, CAB approvals and go/no-go decisions.
  • Manage deployment activities, environment promotions, rollback plans, and documentation.
  • Monitor risks, issues and dependencies and drive resolutions.
  • Support incident management and post-release validation activities.
  • Maintain governance, audit trails and compliance for releases.
