Job summary

Sedgwick Australia is seeking a Loss Adjuster in Hobart to manage end-to-end domestic property claims from first advice to settlement, coordinating investigations, repairs and timely outcomes. You will deliver high-quality claims management and exceptional service to clients and insureds.

The role requires experience in claims management or estimating, a Diploma of Loss Adjusting preferred, and the ability to work autonomously while balancing multiple cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims management, claims assessment or estimating.
• Trade qualifications and/or Diploma of Loss Adjusting would be favourable but not mandatory.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle multiple tasks/cases and manage customer interactions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of domestic property claims from first advice to settlement.
• Determine extent and cause of loss via the most effective, efficient method of investigation.
• Deliver loss adjusting services that meet client service standards.
• Project manage rectification, remediation or re-instatement of damaged property.
• Deliver an exceptional claims experience by working collaboratively with colleagues.
