Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to join a growing project logistics team in Australia. You will own client engagement from initial enquiry through quotation, execution, and completion, developing end-to-end solutions across break-bulk, chartering, port interfaces, road transport, lifting, and storage.

Attend quayside, vessel, and project-site operations as required and manage variations, costs and changing requirements while protecting margin.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of break-bulk cargo and port operations.
• Ability to prepare competitive quotations with pricing and margin.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with customers and carriers.
• Willingness to travel to ports and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Own client engagement from enquiry through completion.
• Develop end-to-end solutions across break-bulk, chartering, port interfaces, road transport, lifting, and storage.
• Attend quayside, vessel, and project-site operations as required.
• Manage variations, costs, and changing requirements while protecting margin.
• Coordinate stakeholders, documentation, and escalation pathways throughout execution.
• Coach and support less experienced team members in project and break-bulk operations.
