Job summary

Uniting is seeking passionate Local Area Coordinators (LACs) in Batemans Bay to assist participants with navigating the NDIS and accessing services. The role focuses on guiding participants through plan development, funding understanding, and building capacity through person-centered support.

These full-time positions offer work-from-home flexibility (up to 2 days per week), a SCHADS level starting around AUD 92,000 per year, salary packaging up to AUD 18,550, plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Strong people skills, customer service and communication.
• Disability knowledge or lived experience with NDIS.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants to link to and navigate the NDIS.
• Guide options to develop informed NDIS plans.
• Support participants in understanding funding in their plan.
• Provide linkage and referrals to community and mainstream services.
