Job summary

Compassion Australia is seeking a Mid-Level Giver Partnerships Manager to foster relationships with mid-level givers, crafting personalised opportunities to deepen their connection to Compassion’s mission. You will operate within the Strategic Giving Team, using CRM insights to identify growth opportunities and steward a donor portfolio.

A confident, curious and organised relationship builder will nurture donor journeys, collaborate across teams and contribute to meaningful fundraising outcomes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in relational fundraising and donor relationship management.
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills across channels (phone, email, face-to-face).
• Strong CRM, data and research skills to inform portfolio management.
• Excellent organisation and time management to plan donor activity and events.
• Solid understanding of mid-level fundraising and moves management.
• Knowledge of donor experience including retention and lifetime value.
• Experience in prospecting, lead generation and donor qualification with targets.
• Qualifications in fundraising, ministry, sales, marketing, events, communications or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and grow a portfolio of mid-level givers through personalised relationship management.
• Design and deliver tailored stewardship, cultivation, solicitation and engagement activities.
• Build understanding of donor motivations, interests, capacity and communication preferences.
• Proactively engage donors through warm and timely phone, email and mail communication.
• Develop and maintain Donor Engagement Plans and portfolio planning tools.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and use donor data to inform activity.
• Identify, qualify and progress potential Major Giver leads within the mid-level portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen donor journeys and fundraising opportunities.
• Develop donor communications, proposals and impact updates in line with brand standards.
• Align work with Compassion's Mission and values.
