Job summary

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Sunshine (Sunshine Hospital Radiation Therapy Centre) is seeking a Medical Administration Officer to support patient access, referrals and appointments within a busy radiation therapy setting. The role is ongoing and part-time (68 hours per fortnight) with flexible, hybrid working arrangements and a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality patient service.

The MAO will coordinate with clinicians, manage appointments, and ensure accurate patient data across EMR

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a busy medical practice.
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record and Mosaiq is highly desirable.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle competing demands professionally and efficiently while ensuring the best possible service for patients and health professionals.
